These past couple of months have been extremely packed. While I have still been keeping my eyes peeled for audition notices my main focus has been on moving. After graduation and my summer contract ended my boyfriend and I packed up our apartment in West Virginia; we headed back to California for while (to work and save up), and after a couple of months we landed in Alexandria VA. That's right the DC area is our new home. It was honestly a really thrilling and exciting experience. It was nice to get the chance to be home one last time before officially starting this next part of my life. We also got to see my partner's family so it was nice to have that last little family send off for us both.

I am particually really pleased with our new place in Alexandria, not only does the area feel really familar already, but it is such a great location for so many things. For starters, in this day and age where being politically conscious is so important, I am glad to be back in an area where being involved is readily accessible. I have been on the lookout for so many new and fun cultural events or just bookstores and niche places to explore. If there are any in the area that you think I should check out please let me know! Most importantly, though, is being in this area puts my partner and myself so close to so many great regional theatres and gives me such close access to great theatre in general.

Surprisingly my boyfriend and I were not even in our new place for even a week, before we got a last minute contract that took us to Maryland. So as of now I am currently Stage Managing Cumberland Theatre's Antony and Cleopatra. It has been such a fast and dirty experience, in the best way possible. After a quick 8 days of rehearsal and 2 days of tech, the show is on its feet and runs: Fri- Sun. March 28th - April 13th. For more details check out: https://www.cumberlandtheatre.com
